Robert Odenthal has been selected to serve as the Chief of Security at College of Eastern Idaho
(CEI).

Robert has been providing campus security as an armed Sheriff Security Officer for a college in
California for over 10 years. During his tenure, he worked closely with campus staff to create policy
and safety protocols to benefit both staff and students. He was trained by the Los Angeles
County Sheriff’s Department on active shooter response has been trained in emergency
management and was an integral part of his college’s emergency response team.
